So much we've learned together...

Last year Daddo and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. Originally we had planned on going back to our honeymoon destination to celebrate, but since I was pregnant with our fourth child we decided to hold off on that. No, instead we took the camper trailer and the three boys and headed west. We ended up celebrating our decade-long union at LegoLand and the Fort Worth Zoo. We made wonderful memories and have decided to have our honeymoon destination anniversary on #15.         Last year I also made a list of our biggest milestones during our 10 years of married bliss. Click here. I would like to add to that memorable list just a few things that happened during our eleventh year.

29. May 22, 2012 - Cora Love is born at Baylor Medical in Dallas
30. May 30 - Cora has surgery at Children's
31. May 31- Cole graduates kindergarten at LC
32. July - I take a new job at my alma mater WR
33. July - Camping trip to San Antonio; three kids and a newborn to Sea World!
34. August - Cole, Will, Daddo and I all start the school year together at WR
35. Nov - Camping trip to Beaver's Bend
36. August-present- We juggle work, kids' activities, family time, raising and loving four kids; and each other.

We experienced lows and highs this year and we feel amazingly blessed for everything God has put in front of us.
Yes, Daddo and I are exhausted.

But we also know that these wonderfully busy years of raising our kids are going to pass us by in the blink of an eye. Then it'll just be the two of us again much like the young couple in our wedding pictures. Except we'll understand the true meaning of selflessness, sacrifice and unity.
We'll also be absolute pros at photo ops with multiple children.

11 years ago we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Making big decisions together, having and raising kids together; that has taught us so much more. I can only imagine what more I'll know and understand when I look back at this blog 10 years from now.
