Keeping Up with The Shenanigans

My crew has been up to no good the last few weeks and running Daddo and I ragged.

But I've still been able to dabble in one of my favorite activities..... writing! (just not on here..)

I've been invited to be a contributing writer for a local magazine,
and my first column was published in the October issue.

The fairly new magazine is called Small Town Kids and it provides great articles and information for parents and kids in the East Texas area.

The newest issue is all about traveling with kiddos, as the busiest travel season is upon us.
Check it out!

I am also one of the momma writers on the magazine's Mom Blog. This endeavor has been new and challenging for me to write about mom things that don't necessarily have to do with my crew.... I'm used to reacting to events I experience as a mom, instead of coming up with topics. But it's been fun so far!

My weekly blog covers everything having to do with being a mom in East Texas....

Check it out and become a follower so you'll get all of the posts from the STK Mom Blog team!

You'll still be able to keep up with the shenanigans of my three boys and little lady here... no worries!

Here's what we've been up to.......

Looking cute and innocent going to church and all....

Getting super hero kind of help when it comes to catching up with the laundry.

Littles getting super excited about their BIG kid bed!

Little brother loving his first sports team experience on The Marvels soccer team.....
and Momma is exhaustingly enjoying being the coach.

Playing more baseball.....

Hitting up the East Texas State Fair.... check out my blog about it on the STK Mom Blog!

When your momma and daddo both work at a school.... your life is kinda spent there a lot....
and you have tons of team colors and gear.

These are the faces of first time Junior Raiders running out of the tunnel with the football team at the home varsity game Friday September 26. It was their first time because their mom is cheap. Will mentioned how next year he'll have to do it because 5th grade is your last chance....... I immediately pictured Rhett in pre-k and his big brothers all being Jr. Raiders and the amount of money that t-shirt would cost me x 3. So here they are in their first and only time as Jr. Raiders. They sprinted out of that tunnel.

The littles kinda like these football games.... especially the fan accessories, band and food.

This just happened a few days ago..... a sign of pre-teenishness?? I'm prayerfully hoping not. The biggest grabbed my phone and took a selfie with a sticky mustache.... At least he said 'Let me take a picture of myself,' instead of the actual term selfie. I mean, that's not cool right? Lord help us all.
